Our 4WD camping equipment policy is unique.

Our camping equipment cover is designed to compliment you 4WD or camper trailer covers providing a broad cover for your camping equipment whilst away from home.

The cover is only available if you have your 4WD insured with us and is provided as an extension of the 4WD policy. One blanket policy simply covers all your recreational insurance needs.

Our policy provides cover both in your vehicle and at your campsite and includes:

Theft from both vehicle and campsite
There is no requirement for a break in under this policy, theft from an unattended campsite is included.

Fire, storm and malicious damage
We will cover your tent against storm damage - will anyone else ?

Accidental damage
We have even paid out for a wild cat damaging a new tent - strange but true.

Of course, if your equipment is damaged as a result of a motor accident, you are covered.

The intention of this policy is to cover your camping equipment. In this we include items such as tents, generators, fridges, stoves, etc.. We do not cover sporting goods, rifles, cameras, jewellery, etc..

Items over $500 in value must be listed. All others are automatically covered.

PLEASE NOTE: This cover is only available in conjunction with either 4WD Motor or camper trailer policies.
