Income Protection for Transport Operators - Owner drivers and employees
Provides cover for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for sickness and accident, excluding Workcover or similar legislation
It provides for 75% of your total gross earnings (including overtime), if you cannot work as a result of sickness or accident.It provides payment for a period of 104 weeks.
7 day waiting period for persons who have been contracted to the principal over 12 months where cover is provided under a group facility.
14 day waiting period period for persons in their first year with the principal or individual contractors.
The policy gives protection if you suffer from partial disablement, but are able to return to work in a reduced capacity.
