TCIS in conjunction with the Transport Workers Union Qld Branch has tailored made Income Protection (Personal Accident & Sickness) Insurance especially taking into account the needs of their members.
This policy is available to both employee and self employed contract members of the Transport Workers Union Of Australia - Qld Branch.
Income Protection Insurance provides cover for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for sickness and accident, excluding Workcover or similar legislation.
Two cover options are available $ 500 or $ 1000 per week, limited to 85% of your total gross earnings (including overtime), if you cannot work as a result of sickness or accident.
It provides payment for a period of 104 weeks.
14 day waiting period
The policy gives protection if you suffer from partial disablement, but are able to return to work in a reduced capacity.
